Standard Atlas van. They've painted it black to disguise it, but it was noticeable for a bulbous skirt that ran around the van covering most of each wheel, which didn't help the turning circle.

Perhaps the influence for the vehicles in 2008 Doctor Who episode "Gridlock"??

Really surprised when this came wandering down my cul-de-sac yesterday, the original Interceptor's little cousin.

Saw this a couple of days ago. Looks like it was going to be saved from the crusher.

I had a mk1 Golf convertible...instead of saving it from such a fate, I was frequently tempted to put it in a crusher!

Now on the road again, the ignition lock caused the problem

Hi Norbert

I hope you did not have to wait too long for help to arrive. Not a nice place to be.

On the M40 today I spotted this Ford but it's a bit out of focus

Spotted this in St Valery, not sure what it is though. The badge was a letter f in a slightly gothic looking typeface.

Fiat 124 Spider designed (and build?) by Pininfarina, having the ‘f’ in their logo after the founder Farina. Most likely a post 1975 model.
Cheers,

This was on the A34 on Thursday, USA reg and the people in it looked like they were out of a Western.

Seems an odd vehicle to travel in.
