FF 119 - 139

The first ever MANGO Jensen FF and the only MK1 with that color, that´s what we found out today.
Now it is for sure that at least 4 Mango FF left the factory.

Now totally stripped and with the media blaster at present. Hardly any corrosion, only a badly repaired rear accident, nothing that couldn't be solved by a good body shop.

No corrosion anywhere...……………. this must be a perfect car for reference then, no doubt Rejen will take lots of pictures of little details on how good or bad it was all constructed etc, nice one Joerg, its the only mk1 painted mango coming from Jensen,, mine was dealer painted that colour much later :D :D :D :D :D

I hope that Ulric will find out more about the color´s history. It was believed that 225 was the first Mango FF but obviously mine was build much earlier. The records show it as „special orange“.

Yes Jensen them selves probably thought calling it special orange was stupid and ultimatly called it mango later on,

I‘m very happy that the car is as solid as expected (thank you and well done Jakob and Andi). Almost not a better basis possible for a restoration, with almost 100% of the original substance remaining intact. Glad the FF is in the best possible home- or one of the best possible homes, there are a few :D. 1st ever Mango or Special (Agent) Orange- it‘ll be a stunning car! Double O Mango!

If I for example had an AM and you'd park that FF next to mine, I'd have a serious crisis. I think I'd sell my car and start collecting stamps instead. And I'd change my financial consultant :D

You would not believe how much corrosion was inside the fuel tank

Some slow progress is made.
The body need more work than expected...

There had been more "Body Experts" involved in the past decades than visible on first sight.
