With the chassis number listed it would be a 7.2 not 6.3

Last of the G series cars were build May 1972

I would also doubt that the description as a manual gearbox is correct.

Those photos were taken less than half a mile from Rejen at Itchen Abbas outside the gates of Avington Park

It's your eyesight - louvres clearly visible, particularly in the main, top photo side on.
Specsavers?

They are damned difficult to see. Are they really there? Saw a recent pic of you, Martin. Are you sure you are not putting on weight? kenny38 8)

I think perhaps it is Martin that might need Specsavers. No louvres on this car.

Reflection of the gate onto the bonnet?
"Now that chassis number is particularly interesting ‘cos it’s the one after the one before, which is the one after mine, not many people know that"

If you're talking about bonnet louvres yes, there are clearly none.
However, the side vent / louvres are present and correct.
It is to those that I referred.

You clearly stated you weren't sure if there were louvres.
The bonnet is so clearly not a louvred one, I thought that you MUST mean the side vents rather than the bonnet.
It's therefore your eyesight 8)

Hi Martin. I always thought they were called side vents. Now stop being pouty. It's not my fault if you are putting on weight. Kenny38
