Most of the GT's were fitted with AC. This may be a better solution than a sliding/leaking/rusting roof and will probably cost a similar amount of money to fit.

Hi Kees

I think a/c was only commonly fitted to US market GTs and I've seen several suggestions that the system was pretty useless. Even if Niels-Erik's car was factory fitted with a/c, given the car is currently in a dismantled state, rather than resurrecting the original system it may be better to install a completely new system. This has been done by a GT owner in the States http://jensengt.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/ ... e.html?m=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Best wishes,
Nigel

Its always great to see all the advice and help here from Jensen owners, I would say that if you are able to carry out the work yourself then this will be far cheaper and more enjoyable than having it restored elsewhere.

Just send out the work you dont want to do like paint maybe and enjoy the bits you can do.

You will find no end of help here and if you havent already then join the club.
