Racing Jensen Healey
Hi, this is my first post and I thought I would share this Youtube Vid I found of a Racing JH in Tasmania. Don't see many being raced. Sounds and looks great. I've seen another video of one in Japan. The Race Car Warehouse website also has a stunning black JH for £17,500 (been for sale for months) that has competed in the BSCC 70's series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTP6y5JR3t8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Racing Jensen Healey
Great to see, but note they were competing in Targa High Country which is held at Mount Buller in Victoria (ski resort) not in Targa Tasmania. Both events are part of the Targa Australia Championship,

Very cool Simon. Some stills from the original post of the 2017 Targa High Country (drivers: Cheesewright/Ponnadura), I couldn't find any pictures:

Great video David. Brings back memories from the time I rallied my Jensen Healey in Holland and Belgium.Davidmac64 wrote:Hi, this is my first post and I thought I would share this Youtube Vid I found of a Racing JH in Tasmania. Re: Racing Jensen Healey
I may have posted these before, but I can't seem to remember. At least two members compete regularily in their Healeys here in Switzerland: Bernard Taeschler and Andreas Wyss. The photos are from Zwischengas.com:
Bernard Taeschler. Those of you at the meet last year will remember him: He's sold the mustard Healey in the meantime for the specially prepared white one: Newer owner Andreas Wyss with the "JPS" Healey:

... continued:
The results of the 2017 Arosa hillclimb- which is in theory (and by law) a regularity (which does not mean that it is not as fast as they can go). Interesting to see the times of the Healey compared to the other cars (many/most of these cars are not stock):

Re: Racing Jensen Healey
What more proof does one need to show that the JH indeed is a fast sportscar, even in stock spec.?

Re: Racing Jensen Healey
In some very good company there! The LaFrance must have been impressive (it's probably a converted 1917 fire engine).
Interesting that both J_H were described as "1120" models. Non-experts (like me) are not as conversant with Healey numbering as with Interceptors, etc. and I wasn't aware that the 1120 was the rare LHD Europe model:
According to God (Calver):
1110 series LHD USA 5759
1120 series LHD Europe 193
1140 series RHD 1194

He's a regular at the events with the car and it's impressive to see him drive and take the corners in that machine.VFK44 wrote:The LaFrance must have been impressive (it's probably a converted 1917 fire engine).
Some footage of the car at that event (at 7:24):

The chain is huge!
And here's the black Healey (at 1:30):
