Re: My Mk111 Restoration - 136/8620(TBY232L)
Just returned from the JOC visit to Morges Switzerland after a fabulous weekend at the invite of the Swiss Club. I covered approx 2040 miles over varying road types and speeds returning at worst 10.83 mpg and best 16.72 mpg. This was my first road trip after local shake down outings and apart from the new Summit thermostat housing leak(Fixed in France) and reconditioned steering rack issue "Toby" behaved faultlessly and was a credit to Finches who did the work

Re: My Mk111 Restoration - 136/8620(TBY232L)
The car has been with Finches over winter having its fourth recon steering rack fitted, full service and fixing some minor snagging. This has been done in slow time and i should have it back in the next few weeks. I'm glad i wasn't approached to display at the NEC or the London Classic car show as it wouldn't have been available. I'm looking forward to using it this year, Grandparent duties permitting and we are booked in for the JOC Spring WeekendGrant wrote:Are you enjoying the car Andy?.. Is it what you wanted it to be?..
