Classic cars on the road
Re: Classic cars on the road
Spotted this Porsche in Torquay earlier.
I believe it’s a genuine 2.7RS

Re: Classic cars on the road
At Dudley Zoo & Castle today, and these rare beauties were there, amongst the usual classics.
The mini was the factory prototype, of which 30 were produced, and this was owned by the Queen.
The Cavalier is a one owner, and he uses it as his everyday car, can't remember the last time I saw one.
Yes that is a Marina 1.8TC in the back ground, it won second in class, but still wouldn't have one, too many memories of the BT van I had.

I had one of those Cavaliers in the 80's, a great mile muncher from such basic mechanics. It used to get called a Manta until they looked at the badges.
Agree on the Marina and later Ital, anything above A road speeds you needed ear defenders and none of them seemed to be able to go around corners.

Nice blue Jensen there Shaun. You should have left a note on the windscreen to see if the owner might be interested in joining the JOC!
