I'll be at The Monte Vista Hotel at the same time as Colin, in my red Interceptor MK3 wearing S4 wheels.
I'm sure it will be a memorable trip - hopefully for all the right reasons!

Good luck and safe travels to all those who have shipped there cars to USA for the East Coast Nationals and the tour of the East Coast.

There's been lots of things to do before you all got here, I'm sure it will have been worth it all.
Only working half a day now.

Thanks Colin - I just need to pack and will leave in the morning to head to London Heathrow - hopefully avoiding the torrential rain and thunderstorms which are forecast overnight tonight in the south west...
See you in Washington DC on Friday night!

Having a great time in Washington DC in spite of today’s terrible weather...
We’re having an early start in the morning when we head to Baltimore to collect the cars.
I’m fully expecting mine to have foot wells and boot full of water if it’s been standing outside in today’s deluge...
Limited Wi-fi and roaming will naturally mean full reports will have to wait!

Martin.. with all your knowledge and experience of Interceptors.. why would you have a car that fills with water when it rains?

Not if you sort them out properly Dunc they don't, a leaky Interceptor won't smell like they should, they'l end up smelling all damp and musky and not of leather like they should,.. if they leak we know where they leak from from and I personally would sort it out... I really cannot stand a car that lets water in when its raining DuncImage, especially an Interceptor, all part of it is the smell when you open the door to get inImage... you know all this anyway... sorry not been in-touch lately Dunc... been backwards and forwards to Ibiza alot.. My Dad passed away Dunc  .. so all been upside down really.. we can talk about all that later... much love to Bentley  .. sorry for the thread Hijack peeps

Have a great time on the east coast guys and girls! From the time this trip was announced I knew I couldn't get off from work at this time of year and have been disappointed. Maybe after retirement? Take lots of good pictures and share!

Yes, enjoy your trip.

I would have loved to attend, as well. Be safe, and remember which side of the road to drive on!

We’ve made it to Lexington, Virginia.
On collecting the cars, my footwells were rather damp after torrential rain and storms in Baltimore.
I thought I’d sorted one source of water ingress but obviously there’s more than one..
The weather is much improved and the trip is going well so far!

Hi Martin!

How many cars did your team bring over?

I agree with the call for pictures!

Especially for the one of “The Donald” riding in a drophead with his toupe blowing in the wind!

I have no idea how to post pictures off my phone without the use of a computer.

We’re leaving Lexington today to drive to Black Mountain NC.

The scenery is truly spectacular and stunning!

Perhaps other JOC club members (there are 5 cars here from the U.K.) can assist with photos?
