Yes...…….. I'm sorry Jens we are going a bit quickly for you.Jens wrote:And I thought it had something to do with a stick (to go under) - silly me.
You are in fact quite correct we were referring to 'the Lamumbo' a dance where some loosed limbed person shuffles under a constantly lowered bar.
Each time he makes it successfully through the bar - the bar is then lowered.
It's a bit like the British tax system: you are required to pay increasingly large sums of money otherwise the whole thing comes crashing down on you.

Sertainly Siggy Freud would have something to say about it.
Is it something to do with satisfying a long-felt want?
If you don’t have one I have a small stock of slightly used felt wants that I can let you have at mates rates.
(Look forward to pictures of you and Neil in the car!)

An earlier version of this Singer was styled by Eric Neale, who of course also styled the C-V8.

Re: Unwanted Heat
Miss Marple? MISS MARPLE? I think you will find that the car is very much associated with Marilyn Monroe who draped herself all over the car. Well I’d love to stay and chat, but I have cakes to bake and murders to solve.
