Radiator from my Mk III J series.

Was fitted used in my car however I have upgraded to an aluminium rad during my recommissioning works.

Not leaking but would benefit from a clean up etc !

It was certainly water tight before the recommissioning work where I upgraded to aluminium.

Cheers.

Hi Dave,
could you pls give us some info regarding the aluminum radiator?
Custom made or from the shelf?
Any changes in cooling performance compared to the stock radiator?
Would be great to have some info.

Hi Thomas, radiator was sourced from Martin Robey and is a straight swap with no modifications required. Does not affect your aircon condenser or cooling fans.

Cooling seems to be better although mine was compromised slightly because one of the fans was connected reverse way !

I also fitted a new water pump and high flow thermostat. I would definitely recommend the aluminium radiator.

Hi Dave,

Is this still for sale? I am working on a MkIII for someone and it might need this if the owner decides not to upgrade.

Thanks,

John.
