The devil is in detail, which is usually either missed or compromised due to cost etc- not here its clear.
Had I the funds I would not hesitate a nano second to send my fleet down- As said had there been a factory, I doubt they could better standard, nor would they be anything like as good new.
Indeed this reminds me of 'Works service' AM restoration, & that dear boy is the very highest compliment one could offer!!

Heads up on the brake hose be great cheers.
Hi Tim SP,
Thanks again for the compliment you pay the team and their work, they do not seek the praise and get the reward of knowing that a job is well done. In relation to your question about the brake res pipes they are aeroquip and secured with crimps rather jubilee clips so that they seal more snuggly, you may have seen the images on page 8 of this thread.

Seriously impressive detail.

Hi Dino,
Thank you for your encouraging comments. They have fully embraced my no compromise brief and continue to excel with the detail of thier finish. "Toby" has been 2 1/2 yrs in restoration to date and we are getting towards the end game, my biggest problem is impatience and resisting the temptation of visiting the workshop on a daily basis to see what new wanders have been performed.

All it needs is a few months in the Cornish lanes and it’ll look like mine
The SPs turn next year.
Thanks Mark and also for encouraging me to post the resto on this forum. The praise received from knowledgable Jensen individuals gives me the confidence that the decision to go the full nine yards was the correct one. I was going to ask you whether you would care to gently run it in for me come the day

Getting nearer the Big Day:
Fuel system fully installed after issues with fitting the fuel filler assembly to the new rear quarter wing. The yellow stuff is Terotex HV350 cavity wax which has been injected into the rear wing void
Rear axle lubed up

Hello Andrew
Toolkit looks good I wouldn't recommend ever using the jack I've tried it a few times to see how it works and the top silver part goes too near the car bodywork for my likeing may have just been my jacks worn a bit.
Just a heads up to be cautious even if trying it dont want to damage the bodywork after getting it looking that good

Correct tyre pressure guage(Courtesy of Rejen)
Correct blue handled pliers

and a second spare wheel adapter as i already have one in the large tool kit

Hi Toby
I am amazed at your attention to the detail of your restoration well done, but I think you are short of a pair of cotton gloves in with the jack. Hope your soon on the road enjoying the car.

Hi Yorkie,
Thank you for your compliment and you are spot on, i do have a pair of cotton gloves but forgot to include them in the photo in my exitement. They are shortly going to run in the tappets on the rebuilt engine and it is looking that i may possibly have the car by Christmas, fingers crossed.

Looking good Andy. Luckily enough my Mk III came with its original tool kit and it’s only missing two screwdrivers from it.

Does Rejen always have the screwdrivers in stock?
