Wiring problems interceptor MK3

Post by petermarchant »

Hi Guys,

As previously posted i have had the car (1975 Jensen Interceptor convertible LHD) back for the summer after a long awaited repaint and trim and mechanical works,The car has performed great with out any major issues and i have covered a thousand miles during the summer, One of the items i needed to address was the air conditioning as it was not working, I have had the air con work partly carried and the guy has mentioned their are a few wiring issues so could i ask if any one knows a good auto electrician in and around the Essex/London area???

look forward any help (when will the work end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Kind regards,

Peter,

As Hervé says for air con related stuff speak to Pat at Fenair, he fitted a new York kit to my FFII which I was more than happy with.

For other wiring work Nigel McMorrin had some wiring problems on the way to Saxony and found an auto electrician in Dover that he said was really good. Not sure if Nigel is on the forum, I will ask him for contact details. May be a little far but Nigel was very impressed with him.

Make sure you have already downloaded (or bought a colour version from regalia) the MK3 wiring diagram prior to your visit!

Yes, the coloured wiring diagramm A3 format is fantasctic and helped me to solve all my (fortunately minor) electric problems and questions.
Laminated and ready to use in teh workshop. Worth every Penny (or Eurocent :D )

Best regards
