1968 Int 383 engine (with Mk2/3 scrap car?)

Post by Dion »

Fo sale an engine on eBay
COMPLITE ENGINE IN GOOD CONDITION

On two pictures a rusty, front end stripped red Interceptor is visible, presumably the car the engine comes from. But the weird thing is that while the engine is dated as 1968, the car is later having Mk2/3 indicators. Engine replaced with an older version in the cars life? Or is it a completely other car? Questions, questions...

There's a least two Interceptors in those pictures, both appearing to be later cars, so maybe he had a '68 as well.

These cars and parts appear to be from the collection of our old friend "Travelling Willbury" who listed the following as part of his collection along with two FFs.
2xmk2 123/3670
5 mk3 128/4381 , 2240/9628 , 136/8561

No doubt all will be for sale with or without documents ( :D ) soon.
