Congratulations from Essex! Have they explained the rule where you pick up the tab at the first year's meetings?
"Now that chassis number is particularly interesting ‘cos it’s the one after the one before, which is the one after mine, not many people know that"

That's great news Bernard, good for you.
I look forward to seeing you at an event sometime soon, or even just a pub lunch.

At the beginning of the year, before Derek stepped down as area rep, he had set out a list of dates for our regular quarterly meets.
The next of these dates is Saturday 2nd July, a date I had pencilled in my diary for a JOC lunch.
Perhaps other members may have done the same so I suggest this as a lunch date.

Where? When the 3 counties area started out, we used to meet regularly at the Hermit of Redcoats near Hitchin.
I have not been there recently but many members will at least know where it is, and it has a good car park.
Google their webpage, recently refurbished apparently.

Bernard, If you now have Derek's email list of members it might be worth circulating a note, not everyone reads the forum,
some of our regulars may never be on the forum judging by the low activity.

Hope to see you soon, in a pub!
