Julie & I are so sorry to hear of David's passing.

Our thoughts are with Helen and family at this very sad time. David was a true stalwart for the marque and will be greatly missed in the Jensen community.

My English isn't good enough to express what I feel about that really sad news.

Such a friendly, enthusiastic and open minded person - will always be remembered and my thoughts are with Helen.

Rest in peace.

Very sad news David was a great and enthusiastic ambassador for the club and a true gentleman who always had time to help others.

Quite shocked to read that this morning. Been a stalwart of the club for so many years and of course a great champion of the Jensen-Healey marque.

RIP David,

I can't believe I received an email from him on 27th August when he said he was looking forward to seeing everyone at events in the spring.

So sudden.

As many people have written, the big friendly smile, handshake & one of the first to help when anyone needed help.
Le Mans, Germany, Scandinavia & many national events as well as a personal friend, who visited my homes both in the UK & Australia.

My heart felt condolences to Helen, Caroline, Mark & family.

Shocked and saddened and also not sure what to say.
I'll really miss Dave's warm friendly welcomes.
A top man who couldn't do enough to help. I'll certainly miss him a lot as will the club but my thoughts are especially with Helen, Mark and Caroline.

This is terrible news, I confess I was moved me to tears when I read Lewi's post. It was David who encouraged me to take on the C-V8 Registrar's role back in 2011 and David's sage advice and cheery support along the way made the job all the more enjoyable and i will miss him a lot.

My heartfelt condolences to Helen and Family

I never really knew Dave and it seems from the forgoing comments that I am much the poorer for not knowing him but my wife and I shared the breakfast table on the Sunday morning at this year's event in Ypres and the friendliness of Dave, and also of Helen, that has been spoken of in many of the comments here were obvious.
Our condolences also to Helen.
