Re: Interceptor III in Norfolk £19,950 offers 2240/9781
I used to own SGA341N , it was my first Jensen and bought it from Eric Ward , who was a trimmer at Jensen. He restored the car, and looked wonderful when I purchased it in 1994, complete with new trim! I remember it as being faultless , but time marches on .
If any member does buy it, I still have some photos of the early nineties restoration , and some receipts . Happy to pass on what I have. I can't buy another one !

Very nice car when we rented it off Bespokes Classics in Watford in August 1999. I think they auctioned a lot of cars including their two Jensens in summer 2000.
We bought their other one at Xmas 2000 off a dealer who'd bought it at the auction and still have it.
Funny this one is in Norfolk, we drove it up there the weekend we had it.

Hi I am new to JOC And have purchased this car. The car is generally in a good condition and it has just had a new MOT certificate on it.
I am keen to learn more and was wondering if the old invoices and photos of the restoration are still available ?
Any help would be most appreciated

Geoff, if you ring Martin Robey Ltd and quote your chassis number they will do you a photocopy of the car's chassis file. This is all the paperwork relating to the initial build of the car and any warranty invoices. There are photos of Eric Ward in one of the Jensen Interceptor books, he worked for Jensen for a very long time right up until the Jensen Cars Ltd days in the late 80s/early 90s. If he retrimmed the car then it will no doubt be very impressive. Eric once owned a 541 I believe.
Geoff there's also a form you can send off to DVLA. If your car is on it's original registration number they will send you details of all previous registered keepers.
