Crankshaft bearing

Hello
I have read in the Engine manual, 440-74, that the front bearing need a chamfer to feed the timing chain with oil.
My new bearing does not have this chamfer. (Feel Pro) All bearings are the same (not no 3 off course).
Is this chamfer important?
