Photo's from Castle Hill Car Festival 2013

Post by Pymmie »

Here's a few pictures and info from the inaugural 'Castle Hill Car Festival 2013'

Held on the 3rd/4th August 2013 @ Castle Hill , Filleigh , North Devon the home of the Countess of Arran.

This was my first attempt at organising an official JOC stand from scratch.

Our new JOC event shelter certainly came in handy as Sunday's weather was typically English.

Many thanks to all owners who made the effort to get themselves and their cars to North Devon.

Great organisation Pymmie and a great range of cars over the two days.

I think you broke the world record for dismantling the JOC event shelter when the rain started to fall again just before we were leaving on Sunday.

Well done John, looks as if it all went well. The shelters will look even better with the JOC sides (next year)

Well done John, excellent weekend, my first as a Jensen owner, interesting range of cars and nice to meet the other owners, Bev and I had a great time and thanks for taking the gazebo down so quickly when we were heading back soaked looking for shelter! It was great being tail-end charlie to 4 Interceptors leaving the site in pouring rain, must do it again soon. 8)
Look forward to the next event.

Pete and Bev.

Thoroughly enjoyed the drive down and back from North Somerset and had a great day at the show. Nice to meet some old and new faces from the friendly South West Area.

Thanks again John

Thanks for all the kind words.

It was great to see so many local cars & owners

The picture below was take by Tim Hatcher who works for 'Classic Car Weekly' and has a JH1 & Jensen GT.

It was overlooked for this week's edition. Maybe next time
