hi richard. what I did was use the translate function to do the google search. jensen interceptor = ジェンセンインターセプター as an example.
I couldn't find any other interceptors, but there seem to be quite a few healeys still around, at least on the internet. west bromwich to japan to iran. sounds intriguing.
I wonder if somebody knows which C-V8 is in japan (the car seems to be there!)?
jens: you noticed the shoe also! (I had some time on the train today...)
best regards, felix

Re: HOW MANY INTERCEPTORS WERE EXPORTED - NEW - TO JAPAN?
Felix, the caption for the black Mk 2 Healey describes it as a 1975 Mk 3 which makes it a good candidate for the Iranian car, 20383. The 1970 Motor Show image shows an Interceptor II with fog lights. The car also has the wing mirrors seen on the March 1970 magazine cover, so these are likely to be the same car - 3552. I have no trace on it since that time. I can't identify any of the other cars from the photos.

JCC FB page has received a like from Satoshi Nagata of Japan with this picture in his page, I‘m assuming it‘s his car- but who knows

Re: HOW MANY INTERCEPTORS WERE EXPORTED - NEW - TO JAPAN?
I seem to remember Dave Horton sold his concours CV8 (MkII ?) to Japan...
Re: HOW MANY INTERCEPTORS WERE EXPORTED - NEW - TO JAPAN?
.... and since then this CV8 has disappeared. Would be interesting to find out where it really is ( he never disclosed any details) and in what condition today.
I own some of the odd Jensen

Jensen Interceptor III
Maybe I wrote it before Jensen Interceptor III.
In the parking lot behind my workplace,
"Jensen Interceptor III"
there is.
This is the chairman's father-in-law's car.
It seems that it has been left unattended for nearly 30 years (or more ...?).
Covered with dust and sand ... I can't even trace it because it's stuck ^^;
The tires are also flat.
The paint is still beautiful because it is barely in the garage.
The glass isn't broken either.
It seems that it was born in 1966 ... How old is this guy now? ??
I was born in 1981. 30 years old this year (... Ugee. 30 years old ...>. <;)
15 years older than me. That means I'm 45 years old.
It's been a long time since I was left alone.
It looks cute after losing the Lord.
What are you going to do with this car? Will it decay as it is?
It won't work anymore, but ... I want to at least clean it up. .. ..

And one in Singapore
https://www.teppayalfa.com/entry/2020/02/01/004331" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A British GT found in Singapore. The body that was common around this time was British, and the engine was an American V8 (or Rover 3.5L V8). It was a model that I thought was only Hoon at that time, but now it has a good atmosphere. The huge rear window like a glass dome is characteristic like the AMC Pacer. It's in a moderate condition, so you can have a good impression including spoiling.
