New section of the Forum

Post by Davenewby »

Hi Everyone,

You will notice that this is a new section of Area News.

Tony Cullen (topcataviator) has agreed to take on the responsibilities as Area Representative of the JOC for Ireland, and has requested a section on the Forum for Irish news. If you have any, then this is the place to be :D

Good luck to Tony in his efforts to promote the Club in the Emerald Isle.

Good luck Tony.

Its a lot of work at times but the feedback from members makes it well worth the effort.I hope we can meet up to swap notes some time in the near future.

I am delighted there is now an Irish Area, I was a little dissapointed when I first joined the forum to find there wasn't one! Credit to topcativator for taking on the task, well done.
I am looking forward to meeting up soon with other Irish based,(and beyond), Jensen owners. By the way Kilkenny is a great place to visit! Two hours from Dublin, Limerick and Cork and only an hour from the ferry port in Wexford. And lots of great places to meet.
Just getting my plug in!

Tony,

Well done on assuming the responsibility. I shall keep a keen eye on your section and seek to combine family visits with Jensen appreciation.

Best wishes,

Insurance

Well done Tony!

I only saw this now but always thought we should have a section. I know I have my car up for sale but will keep in with the club as I plan on getting another in a few years again.

Just a note to everyone, I was insured with AXA for the last year and they sent me out my new quote xxx‚¬370 and you must have another car in your name. I called around and have just given my business to Carole Nash for xxx‚¬212 on a 4000 mile policy. I have a Subaru also but they didn't seem interested in having another car as regards the classic policy.

The best I found and would recommend them to anyone else, I think you can put other classics on the policy too for very little extra.

I have no connection with them, their number is 1800 818 760 and I dealt with a very helpful guy called Kieran.
