Terenure Show 5th July

Post by alanB »

Usual appeal for entries from home and away !

This is a really good show and we've been favoured in the past with lots of visiting Jensens. Unfortunately our numbers have been well down over the past couple of years and it would be good to try and get back up there again with a decent showing.

I'm going to send in a club stand booking form BUT, we will only get an allocated space if we have at least 6 cars booked in advance so please can anyone planning to attend get your entries in soon. The entry form is here http://www.irishjagclub.ie/wp-content/u ... m-15v1.pdf. Its cheaper to book in advance and you get a gold rimmed souvenir plate to hang on the wall - those unique "Austin Martin" (sic) ones from a few years back are probably worth a fortune now !

I'm not sure if there is a JOC stand Philip, but I am going to head up from Kilkenny. Should be there at about 11am.
I reckon Alan is out in his garage trying to get the Interceptor ready!

Huge respect to Alan for his dedication in joining us today, great to catch up with one and all, and also in meeting a few new Jensen owners.

Only another 364 days to go.......

Couldn't agree more Justin.

We had five cars in the end, four Interceptors representing all the marks and Justin's C-V8. The C-V8 looked great on an elevated area at the back of the Jensen plot, Justin assured us that the handbrake worked fine but aimed the C-V8 at the Opel Kadetts next door to keep us happy.
I forgot to take any photos  , hopefully someone else did.

Did you suffer the thunderstorms that we did over here on Sunday afternoon?
