Forgotten Interceptor

Post by 73Mark111 »

Did any of the Dublin owners hear what happened to the Interceptor that lay forgotten in the underground car park?

Interceptor in underground car park

Post by Stephen »

Yes, I saw it there in the car park yesterday (December 10th) if it is the same one you are referring to. Mk III in blue with black vinyl roof.

The cover is long off it and it is gathering dust, but looks to be in good condition, interior immaculate. Last taxed in 2005.

Have a couple of photos if anyone wants to see it.

Regards

At least it is still there then. When it was made aware to us by a visitor to the Teranure show, it had a notice on it stating it was to be ''disposed of'' by the car park owner.

This car is apparently secure. I understand that the owner is storing it in the car park. It has sat for a number of years though so I am not sure if it is open to offers. I spoke to the management company today about it and if anyone is interested I think that they might arrange for messages to be passed to the owner.

That's good news Stephen, well done for doing the research.

Slightly related...many years ago when I was working in London (before I was a Jensenite) there was an aparently abandonned Interceptor (or maybe FF) in a private underground garage that we used. It had been there many years acording to my friends illustrated by the recovering of dust, the writing they had done in the dust when they first saw it.
After moving on, I always meant to go back and see whether it was still there.
Nigel.

Only just saw that post
Is anyone heading to Terenure tomorrow? I can go along for a few hours but will have to leave at around 1pm.
