IRISH VINTAGE & CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Post by topcataviator »

20th IRISH VINTAGE & CLASSIC CAR SHOW
SUNDAY JULY 3rd 2011

Image
Last year we had a great turn-out for this event. Some JOC members travelled from far and near to attend the show. Last year?s attendance included over 1,100 vintage and classic cars on display with the JOC Stand displaying 12 Jensens from the UK and Ireland. A great weekend was had by all. So it?s now time to consider a trip for this year?s event.

This weekend will not clash with other events on the JOC calendar.

If you wish you could extend your trip to a duration of your choice should you wish to take a holiday in Ireland.

My intention would be to organise accommodation in a luxury Medieval Castle/Hotel 2 miles from Dublin City centre (our base) and also, if you wish, less expensive alternative accommodation nearby in the Clontarf area of Dublin 3, which is only a ten minute drive from the Holyhead-Dublin car ferry and 2 miles from Dublin's city centre.

There are a number of other events in Dublin on the weekend which may be of interest to members.

Included will be a JOC run to picturesque areas of nearby Howth and Malahide, on the East coast and evening meetings for dinner, etc.

I can organise Golf at superb Courses (9-18 holes to suit) if you wish.

What I need just now is an idea of numbers to allow me to book accommodation in advance and advise costs, etc.

Please reply A.S.A.P. to avail of suberb accommodation!

PM ME FOR ENTRY FORM!

Should you like to have a peep at the main hotel (our base) go to:

Hi Stephen, I have family commitments so I am looking at just the show on Sunday.
I am not sure if there is a scenic drive planned for the Sat, you will have to ask TC. If there is then I will have to miss out :(

I'll be there - it seems we are in the area called "jen-son", from the people that brought you "Austin Martin" a few years back :) Testing out my new almost mufflerless exhaust.

Hi all,

See you on Sunday.

I am not sure how many will turn up as is usual members book themselves.

No visitors from the UK this year.
