JENSENS AT THE AMBERLEY CLASSIC CAR SUMMER PICNIC

Post by david wright »

Down in deepest West Sussex, things are stirring, and the JOC was represented at this annual classic show very ably by two locals.
Julie and Terry Fairley took their beautiful 541S, and met up with yours truly in our CV8, and between us we made an impressive display of two of Jensen’s best fibreglass cars.
As is always the case, many people showed interest in the cars, and we were fortunate to gain an early prominent position near both the vintage bus stop, the restaurant, and central meeting place.
Amberley is a working museum, featuring many rural and country crafts, but the engineering shop includes a metal casting facility which has helped out many classic car owners with one-off castings of impossible to find parts.

The sun shone, the cars glinted, and a great day was had buy all!
