Thanks to Dave for organising a great day out. Interesting run and thanks to Steve for providing the barbeque facilities.

Here's the report - Chris and I had devised a 30 mile circular route travelling west through Southwater, Billingshurst, Pulbourough and Storrington, before cruising south on the A24 to Steve's Farm in Findon for our BBQ.
This year we were joined by Steve D-Eca in his Healey V8, Ed and Amanda Brown in their Interceptor, and John and Sheila Tunnicliffe with their SP. They had all travelled some distance to be with us, and so, including Simon or landlord's trusty Triumph TR6, (The C-V8 MK1 is still in the garage - don't go there!) we reached our dizzy figure of 25 hardy enthusiasts, and 11 Jensens, almost doubling the numbers from last year. Leaving the White Horse at 11.0am, therefore, were a total of 88 cylinders of Britain's finest, including 6 from Coventry. Kate, Simon's daughter, (which Simon I hear you say!) brilliantly caught us all on camera leaving the pub, and this is now immortalised on You Tube -

Most kept up with the leisurely pace set by Green Leader, none felt the need to call into the petrol stops, and all seemed to find the route enjoyable. All in all, with a 541, C-V8, Interceptors and 2 Healeys, we gave a good showing of the Jensen marque through country roads and villages, with much head turning as we rumbled by!
Once at Steve's Farm, bonnets were up and comparisons made of ancillaries, and tyres, with Rob's V8 a particular star.
Steve's BBQ facilities were perfect as always, the sun shone, and so a big thank you to Steve for his preparations and facilities. As all were finally leaving, Steve's chickens helped to clean up!
A very successful spring day out, so also a big round of thanks to all of the drivers and navigators, and lastly, of course our non-Jensens in support.

Where next year!
