August meeting

A warm dry evening meant most of our regulars turned up with their cars!.

All looking a bit blue to start with!. My FF, Steve Major Mk2, Les smith Mk3, Brian Birkin SP.

if you would of hung about longer on that photo of brians car ,steve and i were pointing out all the flaws (NOT) will dave T let his tyres down! :D Could'nt see brian laughing that one off, what do you think ?

We are putting Brians SP on a rolling road next week, i think he will have kittens when he watches his car do 100mph standing still!!.

great line up U.D,wish our area was as lively, been very flat,must beat the drum harder!
Be interesting to see how Brians compares to Richards,I wont be going there!!! don't want a 'Top-Gear' where has all my horses gone,moments!

when i owned it it did 140 on the motorway

But I presume you were sat inside the car, with the bonnet closed....

It's quite different standing next to your pride & joy, stationary, bonnet open, yet doing 100mph with the engine screaming away :shock:

yes very scary but i tell you now that car was fast blip the throttle at 115 and she roared away with loads togo just didn't like London traffic
