REMINDER

Robert Gallo (Central Scotland Area Contact) will be holding the first planned meeting on
Monday 7th Feb 2011 at 7:30pm at
The Steading (Bar and Restuarant)
Biggar Road (Just off the A702 City By-Pass)
Edinburgh
EH10 7DU

All welcome to come along, for introductions and to get feedback / suggestions.

A Scottish Spring Weekend Break for April at Loch Lomond is planned with other local areas hopefully joining for the event.

Further regular monthly meetings are planned, on the first Monday of the month, for anyone with a Jensen Car or even interested in the Jensen marque.

The intention is to attend several Scottish car shows with a JOC stand and a good turnout of cars.

Contact Robert Gallo on 07762 550398 or robert-gallo@hotmail.com to find out more.

At tonights meeting the feeling was that this should be the last for the year.
Robert has suggested we start again in March next year. He can still be contacted (details above) should anybody want to organise anything before then or if anyone has ideas for next year.

Met Robert yesterday at the Stirling show and he asked me to update this post.
The meetings have resumed, as per last year. Same time and venue as above.
Roberts Email address has changed to- robert-gallo@hotmail.co.uk

Despite Robert Gallo's valiant efforts to get this section up and running the turnout has been very poor.
He has decided to stand down and has asked me to relay this to the forum. Unless anybody else wants to pick up the baton, the Edinburgh meets will now be cancelled.
I for one have been too busy to attend lately but did enjoy the half dozen or so meetings I attended last year.
Thanks for your efforts Robert.

Maybe you could keep the group going as a framework for organising show trips - i.e. no regular meetings, but use the contact list to try to get a group appearance at public car events. That way, if no-one else turns up with a Jensen you are not alone.
