I had a run out to Canale on Saturday just checking the route that the Wessex invasion will take,
Please note that the road shown from Goyte Woods is a footpath and that if you turn off the A4042 onto Saron Road you will get your Jensen stuck on a hump back bridge. Much as I think this would make a good photo for the magazine I don't think this is to be recommended.
The access to Goyte Warfe is off Old Abergavenny Road, shown as A on the map.
The Canale Cafe is in the background.
