Hello,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a workshop /mechanic to do work on a Sheerline engine in the Southwest region?

Hi Peter,

To be honest, not my area of knowledge, BUT when I was last at Haynes Museum, I met a guy that had several Jensen's and other marques repaired / serviced by them and that included I believe a 541. I do not know the engine specifically he had but it might give you a starting place and not too far from you at Sparkford.

There used to be several other 541 owners in the South Somerset, maybe Dave Turnage can give you pointers?

Regards

Hi Clive,

Many thanks for your comments. I had thought of Haynes as a possibility.

The last time I spoke to Dave T, he didn’t know of anyone around here, but I shall contact him to get his thoughts.

Peter
