Wessex Area Meeting - Friday 13th May 2011

Hi Everyone,
I hope everybody is keeping well and able to come to the Area meeting this Friday. After two trial runs, it would appear that choosing a Friday for a monthly meet is quite popular and a great start to the weekend. The pub is starting to get busy as it's summer trade starts to ramp up. They have asked us to be seated by 7pm, if we have to wait for people then we will have to give up our table and not be able to eat until 9pm. In view of this, could I please ask all those of you that are going to come along to the meeting to email or pm myself.
A reminder to those who haven't been before, we meet at The Crown Pub, Tolldown, Dyrham, Nr Bath, SN14 8HZ. If you leave the M4 at junction 18 and head south towards Bath on the A46, the pub is about 1 mile from the motorway on the left hand side. There is a large car park at the back of the pub.
It's always nice to see another Jensen, but even nicer to see the owners, so please feel free to pop along in whatever vehicle you choose. I would like to chat about the Gloucester Vintage Steam show in August (South Cerney this time and not at Kemble) and also the 100th Anniversary of the Bristol Motorsports Club. Also we have been approached by the local Lions who are looking to start a yearly classic car show in Allington (near Castle Coombe).
