4th Annual - Yorkshire Area Autumn Weekend - 22nd - 24th Oct

Dear all,

Its come round to that time again when Brendan and I set to sorting out our area Autumn Weekend and this year by popular demand we are back in the beautiful Lake District.

This years get together will cover the weekend Fri 22nd to Sun 24th October

Last year, not withstanding one of two mechanical gremlins,a jolly good time was had by all,to the extent that near enough, everyone present has re booked!(two couples left to contact when back from hols)

Once again this year, our base will be the Kings Head and Travellers Rest sister hotels which are just 4 miles apart on the same main road to Keswick. Both are of the very same standard but like many hotels in this area only have small numbers of rooms ie; Kings Head 17 Travellers 10.
For this reason the Travellers is our overflow hotel when the Kings Head is full. However, anyone staying at the Travellers will have their evening meals in the large dining room at the Kings Head.
Brendan and myself will sort out taxis and the like for those wanting a drink and you can safely leave your Jensen at the Kings and we will get you back from the Travellers next morning.

ROOM RATES

The rates have not changed from last year and remain:-

xxx£75.00 per person,per night - Dinner,Bed & Breakfast.

At the time of this posting we still have a few rooms left, however, please be quick if you would like to come and join us.Contact either me or Brendan and remember, all are welcome. This is 'not' only open to Yorkshire Area Members

Best to all,

Mark & Brendan
