NEWBY HALL CLASSIC CAR SHOW Sun 21st July

Post by Mark Maniatt »

Dear All,

The JOC will once again be taking part in this premier car show on Sunday 21st July.Last years event was, as expected, cancelled due to the heavy rain during the preceeding week.Hopefully our luck will hold good and we shall be blessed with fine, dry weather for this years show.

For those that have'nt previously attended, this is the no.1 show in the North and is a must for lovers of all things classic including cars, buses and various commercial vehicles. In total around 1500 vehicles on display!!.Add to that a vast array of car parts stalls and the usual vendors of all things classic/vintage and you have a very full day out.

We normally get upwards of 30 Jensen's on our dedicated display area and all Jensen models are included. The dateline for cars to this show is a nominal 1972,however,we normally show car's up to 1976 without any problems.

If you wish to come along, please let me know here on the Forum or PM me or failing that call me on Tel. 07802 934256 before 9pm
please. The usual 'suspects' have been sent out entry forms as usual.

Hope to see some of you there for a great day out,

All the best,

Mark

Yes Please Mark :D

We have missed this show for the last couple of years, so we might not be on the list of "usual suspects".

Can't really miss a trip to NEWBY HALL

I had a very pleasant day yesterday at Newby Hall. I acted as chauffeur to Andy and Christine Brooks and some bloke called Kevin. It was nice to have a chat with a few people and put some names to faces. I also bought that natty little door mirror similar to the one I saw on Martin Ritchie's FF. My old girl went well. I've done 1700 miles in the past three months and have trips to Norwich, Whitby and Belgium planned in the next three so she's certainly getting plenty of use. I'm taking the precaution of fitting a Supapak radiator, Milodon waterpump and thermostat together with new hoses.
