Is this SP worth saving?

Post by Keith »

Seen a few weeks ago at Cropredy, don't know if it's still there. Not for the faint-hearted but look at the shut lines and the shape of the wheelarches. You don't see that very often. The paint looks original, there isn't 14 reprays on there.

Yeh, and lets hope the next bonnet will be the correct one... is it an SP or did the previous owner have a vision?

I saw this car in a container at Cropredy 2 - 3 years ago before I bought the FF. It's a fantastic colour combination - silver with red interior and roof. I wonder what the exterior / interior colour remind me of....

It looks like a good opportunity for someone to get a car that hasn't been hacked about too much. There are a few Interceptors running round with SP bonnets so I don't think the wrong bonnet will be too much of a problem.

I do fancy another SP but need to get the bodywork sorted on the FF and engine back in the Murena...
