Any garage recommendations

Post by 2717VF »

I'm posting on behalf of my old man who isn't that internet savvy.

Does anyone have any garage recommendations in the East Suffolk/Saxmundham/Framlingham area? It's for a 541R. The passing of time means that he's not as nimble in and under it (don't tell him I said this!)

Thanks very much

Hi Hugo,

what kind of work needs to be carried out?

There is a good guy near Diss that I have used in the past (although I do nearly all my own work for myself) - Alexander Scott (07887 921278) - he used to be in Colchester.

I don't think you will find any closer garage who will have even heard of a 541R!

let us know how you get on.

Thanks for that, Dave. Nothing too serious required. I think he is just on the lookout for a place that understands/sympathises with older classic cars. As you say, all the local garages look at it as though an alien has landed. I'll pass on those details.

Thanks again
