Lunch at Whepsted

Post by DaveT »

Thanks to Peter and Lynda for organising an excellent lunch yesterday at the white horse in Whepsted. It was a new venue for us and seemed very good (although I know some of the steak based meals were served slightly cold). 2 Jensens were present and we had a short and interesting visit to see a local 541S restoration that is getting close to being roadworthy.

Thanks again

Dave and Jane

I had already emailed Peter and Lynda thanking them for their efforts and an excellent day, not at all diminished by a couple of slightly cool steaks quickly rectified by excellent staff.
Reason for adding to this post is to comment on the friendly welcome extended by everyone to Lynda and me on our first event as new members. The very opposite of the cliquey atmosphere too often found in other clubs.
