Are you sure you are not being reunited with the bracket that was originally on your own car, before it went walkabouts during the conversion!

Haha yeah maybe, right? Would be even weirder in that case though, as I found the bracket in The Netherlands, but my car never left South Africa until 2021zz 😂
Found a Vignale built LHD MK1 in South Africa, Sincar #15, chassis 117/2592.
On a long and winding road to restore it back to original condition. :shock:

Nice find. Looks like the original bushings are intact as well. I'd be interested in some closeups as I would like to replicate some for my car.
