I’ve just done my rocker covers back to Aluminium, polished as best as I could.certainly not up to the standards of some of those in the pictures. Paint stripper had hardly any effect on what was left of the original black finish so was 4x as hard as I expected and not really as good as I thought they would be. Used maroon red similar to the Jensen logo, instead of black in the grooves. Might have a change of heart and go back to original at a later date.

Well, I think they look lovely. A nice "oily rag" finish that will be easy to maintain.

Nice practical and attractive finish on the valve covers, not over done so lots of metal left for the future! Dark blue lettering for FF/SP valve covers is an interesting take on Bretts idea. Makes me want a go with the Solvol Autosol.
