A very rewarding project, don’t forget to get the crank rebalanced with all that loss in weight. We don’t want any bad vibes after all that hard work!

While it is not a bad idea to get the entire rotating assembly balanced before assembly I don't believe the lighter parts would require the crank to be rebalanced.jglarkin wrote:A very rewarding project, don’t forget to get the crank rebalanced with all that loss in weight. I will have the rotating assembly balanced when the crank gets here, but that’s coming by seafreight as for some inexplicable reason my girlfriend didn’t want to put it in her suitcase!
Daniel,
Build is going to be 493 stroker with Molnar rods and crank, SRP pistons and Trickflow 240 cnc heads. Cam is a Crane HR222 hydraulic roller.
