Amazing figures, its a shame that craftsmen like this are few and far between these days.

Its great to see he does everything in house and really seems to care about getting the best out of every engine and not just throwing them together for maximum profit.

The block has a nice black paint finish in the final pictures. It must be nice to get an engine back like that and be completely happy with everything. The torque figures are especially impressive at low RPM, the highest figure being at the lowest RPM tested at, when the engine is not breathing much. It would be interesting to see what the low RPM performance is like with 440 iron headers, and also if the SP's larger iron headers make any difference.

JohnBoy..I spoke to Dave today.. he said that was a good idea you said there re the SP iron manifoldsImage..he said to me that it is something he wants to do to see the difference, he admired your question and this has spurred him on to do itImage..We'll keep you posted BatmanImage
