Always good to see early pictures! A Vignale in very nice condition knowing that it was at least 5 years old. Which was pretty old in those days - many cars were scrapped before they reached 8 years.

well thats this year finished, as far as I am concerned. the survivors site had 95 updates, and survivors now stand around 356 but some are suspect/not heard of for a while. The last 2 updates are for 2 of the early cars; 2541 the bedford car - John sent a photo taken in 1967 when it was at Southampton Docks and when it was in better condition. The other was 2539 which might be for sale - I have added a video Neil sent this morning.
Happy New Year to you all.
ps still looking for confirmation of the following

Thanks to Zac (again) I am back on line. I have modified the Numbers/ Location page and listed those cars that I have not heard of since I started the Survivors List. I checked the UK numbers agains the DVLA a few are on SORN others have moved the number Plate to other cars whilst the remainder are not listed.
if you scroll to the bottom you will see those I would like confirmation of.

Yet another car surfaces. 115/3022, link on the WELCOME page, is a car owned by a long time JOC member, that makes 361 on the list or 35.25%.
I am still looking/ trying to purify the records. Thanks to Stoo some of the Australian cars have been updated.
see tables at the bottom of the numbers page

I think I uploaded it about 2010/2011 so 8 or 9 years. The counter is only on the front page but I find the flag counter interesting - it shows where people are looking at the site from.

I spotted this sorry looking Mk1 in a Range Rover advert:
Asked the Range Rover seller about it but he was a bit short on answers.
Hello, Mk1, chassis number 115/2823, reg 22 April 1968. for restoration, will need a new interior.
Needs comp interior, not tried to start it, can weld the shell/paint for you to home finish.
There was still very much an interior visible in the ad for September last year.
http://www.joc.org.uk/Interceptor_Mk_1/ ... ale_1.html
So, since the transaction of September last year it seems to have lost its interior. Or maybe it was destroyed in the last few months while it stood out in the open without windows?
In all it does not look too good.
Here is the ad for anyone who wants to investigate further:

It's OK for me. It sounds like something on your computer.
