What a waste of an early car. Is it from Turin, or very early West Brom car?
From Richard Calver's books it would appear to be the third car of the second batch of cars from Italy that was bodied and painted at Vignale but delivered to Jensen untrimmed. So probably half and half. Chassis built at West Bromwich, then bodied and painted in Italy, then trimmed at West Bromwich.

Hi Steve,
This was found on an Ebay add for a Jag E-Type.
Jensen in the background.

Thanks John ( and Chris, you beat me to it)
115/2701. Not on the list.
I will try and contact the owner to see if I can get more info. If anyone knows the whereabouts I would be interested.

trying to catch up after a months Dog Sitting (don't ask) so have added new photos and information for 3 cars and the new survivor 115/2710. I did message the scrap yard (near Birmingham i believe) but have had no reply. If anyone recognises the yard could they see if they can find more info.
I also include a couple of photos that I saw of whilst doing my dog duties but did not note where I got them from. Can any one help me with car numbers/ chassis numbers and or owner?

339. Three new survivors this month so far, but still looking to find information on the one in the Jag advert. Also new photos added to a couple of albums including Rod's in Australia and non computer Rick's with original document photos supplied via his brother.

Anyone live close to the garage I think it is in. Apparently owned by Jag Specialist Wally Crook
Kingston Garage,
130 Bordesley Green,
Bordesley Green
Birmingham B9 4SU
If so could they drop by and see what the chassis number is and get photos and contact details.

Hi Steve,
That address is a now a part worn tyre fitter and hand car wash, and very run down. I can remember there being a garage at that address which had old jags lying around, but it has long since gone. The phone number on the advert comes up in the Knowle area of Solihull, which is more in keeping with the photo. If you can get anymore info then let me know, as these areas are not too far from me, and I'm willing to go and have a look. I presume you've tried ringing the numbers on the advert? 01564742466 or 07942065089

A few additions to the site including some stats for those so inclined. The Summary chart indicates that this year I have heard about, and/or recorded, 79 cars. Richard Calver has tighter parameters than I, but you can choose your cutoff point to decide whether cars are current or not. In the right hand columns is the accumulative totals of all Mk1s. The reason it differs from the figure quoted at the top of the Welcome Page is that there are 13 cars that I don't have a date as to when they were seen or indeed for 2 of them where they were seen. so i would appreciate some help re-finding those.

I have updated the graph and data to the Welcome page, and updated a link to 115/3085 to show the progress Trevor is making with his car. It always impresses me the detail and depth some go to.

Another Survivor Identified 115/3478. The Owner is not on the Internet so communication is through a third party. Hopefully some photos will follow but has been in the hands of the current owner for 48+ years and is meticulously maintained and documented.
That's 345 or 33.69%
