I have finally got around to doing a few updates on the website. We are now showing 395 possible survivors or a 38.57% survival rate. If i haven't updated anything that you may have sent me please send me a reminder, or better still, resend the information, Old age and apathy are setting in

Hi Steve,

As you know I'm researching the Vignale built series, and especially the Sincars. By accident I stumbled across 117-2612, one of the 32 italian produced left hand driven MK1's.
Its in very good condition, owned by the museum MahyMobiles in the south of Belgium. So please add another one to your list of survivors!
The car seems to have lost the original Vignale front bumper though, unfortunately.

I'm planning to take a trip there, and write an article about the Sincar specials for the Dutch Jensen club magazine. Will keep you in the loop when I have more pictures (and confirmed the chassis number in person).

Found a Vignale built LHD MK1 in South Africa, Sincar #15, chassis 117/2592.
On a long and winding road to restore it back to original condition.

Interesting front indicator lenses on that one. First clear ones I have seen.

I have just added this message to the survivors site welcome page :(

THIS WEBSITE WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN IN A WEB BUILDER (iWEB) THAT HAS NOT BEEN SUPPORTED BY APPLE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. IT IS ALSO RUN ON AN APPLE iMAC 2009 MACHINE THAT IS NOW COMING TO THE END OF IT’S LIFE AND APPLE SEEM TO BE TURNING BITS OF FUNCTIONALITY OFF. AS SUCH I CANNOT NOW READ THE EMAILS ON MY OLD MACHINE ALTHOUGH I CAN ON MY LAPTOP. HOWEVER MY NEW LAPTOP CANNOT RUN IWEB AND I CANNOT TRANSFER PHOTOS OR INFORMATION BETWEEN THE TWO COMPUTERS. THERE IS NOW A REAL POSSIBILITY THAT THE WEBSITE WILL CRASH IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I HAVE KEPT IT RUNNING AS LONG AS I COULD BUT I THINK THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL IS A STOP SIGN.

I HAVE STARTED TO LOOK AT AN ALTERNATIVE SYSTEM - WORDPRESS - BUT THE PAGES , PHOTOS AND EMAILS I HAVE MAKES IT A PROJECT TOO FAR FOR ME AS I AM TOO OLD / LAZY TO LEARN A NEW SYSTEM.

ALL THE INFORMATION IS HOSTED ON THE JOC SITE SHOULD ANYONE HAVE THE TIME ABILITY OR DESIRE TO TRY AND TAKE IT OVER.

Ow no.. that's a tragedy.. I'm sure there must be a way to transfer/host the registery to another environment? Let me have a look around, I want to help keep this alive.. been invaluable for me, and i'm sure many others.

The issue is with the software that Steve uses, the club were investigating alternatives already. The data is backed up, nothing will be lost.
I will post more when I get back from a weekend away tomorrow evening.

Thanks Zac thanks to you and your assistance I am happy the info is safe it is just that I now have problems doing updates so one day soon it will become obsolete information and wither and die.

Happy New year to all by the way.
