I like the colour though. I should have taken a picture from the back: the spare wheel mounted on the rear was the original and probably half the size of the others. I can’t see how that would work if there was a flat...kees wrote:Avoid that paint shop.

A now defunct firm called Brabazon made it from a 405 saloon after shortening the chassis to that of a 404 (I don't know why either)
They made a very tidy interior and even reduced the diameter of the signature Bristol steering wheel in view of the addition of power steering. They then put in a new engine to replace the original 2 litre Bristol unit.
I bet it's rather quick
