Classic cars on the road
Re: Classic cars on the road
That’s a lovely car Jens, we can’t see it here but #21 has an amazing interior. (I’m still a big fan of the C-V8 though)

A couple of cars we saw today standing in front of a garage, and what turned out to be a dealership

Bond Equipe GT with the 2litre Triumph Vitesse underpinnings. One of the few small British manufacturers who didn't go bust, but were closed down.

I am sure I read somewhere that Reliant became the new owner of Bond?
The future ain’t what it used to be.

Re: Classic cars on the road
That's right, and the only use they had was for the name on the Bond Bug, which was really a Reliant product.

Had a passenger with me, and they expect you to know every old car. I said it was a Ford...

Re: Classic cars on the road
Not taken by me but interesting conversion. A lot of it looks good but shame the rear side windows weren’t a bit larger.

Re: Classic cars on the road
Nice conversion of the body but the window and the rim around it are horrible. The worst shortcomings in my view are:
the sharp corners are out of place
the front edge is not parallel with the glass in the rear door
it is not extending far enough to the rear
The chrome trim and the black edge on the glass are not in the same style as the rest of the cars trim

I had to take the wife to work this morning. And I thought I'd best pick her up too... so I thought I'd add a little glamour to the service area of the Royal Gwent Hospital...

Design by Tom Karen, of Ogle and Scimitar fame.
