Classic cars on the road
Re: Classic cars on the road
What an awful Bentley. Almost just as bad as a 90s Bristol.

Re: Classic cars on the road
The Bentley is a Continental R, and are a beautiful car in the flesh, admittedly that one doesn't look good, it must be the colour. Get one in a dark blue or green and they are stunning. Would love to have one but not got money or the space, as they are huge.

I agree with Kevin, in the right colour, quite a handsome car. I borrowed a black one, back in the day when they were new!

The rego on this one said it was a 1994 model. And, according to Wikipedia, was the most expensive production car in the world at the time.

Some interesting cars there Colin. The Standard Vanguard is a Six - my father had one in the same colours, with overdrive. Looks like a Morgan coupe which I've always liked. And the styling changes on that Healey are very well done.

I agree regarding the J-H. I had to look twice! Whilst not original, I feel those side vents really look the part.MikeWilliams wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 9:20 am Some interesting cars there Colin. Re: Classic cars on the road
I am really pleased to see the blue J-H (TUT302M) i think it looks great.
Which is no surprise because my restoration project is very very similar (in concept anyway and i hope in execution).
I have painted mine a very similar Blue (RAL5005) and i have painted the hardtop to match. and i have modified
the front to get rid of the fat lip.If my one comes out anywhere near as good as this i will be pleased.
Well done to the owner.

Hi all
I was delighted to meet Brian Philpott and his wonderful 541S at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport last Sunday. Hopefully, we might have two 541’s in attendance next year.
