My dad had one of those Datsun as a company car in the 70's not many of us fitted in the back as we are all over 6ft.

The dark one seemed to have been standing for a while and is driving on garage plates, and the driver seemed a bit tense

How nice to see a Metro.
Best town car until Mercedes A-Class.
I had two: a black 1.3 which kept breaking down and an MG Turbo which went like stink.
Unfortunately it ended up in a ditch as the turbo cut-in on a bendy county road just outside a farm gate where some kind farmer had deposited some tractor diesel.
Great little cars though.

Coincidentally, I also had an MG Metro which also ended up in a ditch... The only car I've written off, so far...

Seen at my local "Bottles & Cases". The Porsche was completely unrestored and in fine shape. (I hope that these photos are the right way up this time.)

No wonder there are none left on the road, I had a friend in the RAF who bought a Metro Turbo new and we were out in it one night and ended up walking home as it ended up nose down in a ditch after a bit of over zealous cornering. We went back the following day to rescue it with a toe rope and realised the damage was a lot worse than we thought.

RockyUSA's photo of the the Crosley reminded me of the visit my wife and I made, in the noughties, to the mansion formerly owned by Powell Crosley Jr. on the Tamiami Trail north of Sarasota Fl.

Here is a piece about Powel Crosley Jr. from the sarasotahistoryalive website -
Powell Crosley was a promoter, businessman and industrialist who had the knack of transforming ideas into reality. Between 1900 and 1940, in the field of radio, Crosley generated the first automobile radio, the first push-button radio and the world's most powerful radio station. Other items included one of the first mail-order specialty companies, the first portable freezer, the patent for shelves in the doors of refrigerators and freezers, the first lights on a major league baseball field and the first mass-produced small economy car.
The front end photo reminded me of the U.K. built Berkley T60. And although a Crosley name tag is clearly shown on the dash panel I just wonder???

Particularly when I do an internet search for a Crosley two seater sports car and do not come up with anything resembling that yellow car. Food for thought.

That Volvo needs some new tailgate wires by the look of the rear wiper. Thought it was mine initially
