Duncan!
How could you?
(I wish I'd thought of it......)

It's a shame that with all that money spent someone would have spent a few hundred pounds on a well-designed and fabricated replacement .
My friend Wallace springs to mind as the fellow to do it.

Couldn’t believe my eyes. Parked outside a garage, but it‘s the owner‘s parking space. He has his office next door. Why do they have 4 exhaust pipes and we only have 2?!

I see what you mean- the styling is more of a limousine than a GT perhaps, but you could always put an AC/DC sticker on the car :D The Beaufighter would be my choice

Well done Dean! That's so close I must let you have it.
A now defunct firm called Brabazon made it from a 405 saloon after shortening the chassis to that of a 404 (I don't know why either)
They made a very tidy interior and even reduced the diameter of the signature Bristol steering wheel in view of the addition of power steering.
IMG_5141.JPG
They then put in a new engine to replace the original 2 litre Bristol unit.

I bet it's rather quick

That shifter is just so wrong, it would be better suited for sale in a sex shop,, :D
If it was for sale in a sex shop, it might be linked to a semi, rather than a hemi.

Whilst we're on a Bristol theme here's a round-up of recent sightings.

My Jensen broke down with a failed gearbox a couple of days before a "tour" with friends. I was lucky enough to borrow a very unsophisticated replacement. It is the oldest car and the only one with vinyl seats. Had a great time but very primitive compared with the modern muscle.

So it is one classic car parked off the road 8) 8)

Well spotted. The 541, if it is gunmetal grey, would probably be Fuzz's own, but I have never seen the red C-V8 before. Is the registration CV8?

I thought it looked like CV8 but it could be on the car to remind them which car they are repairing - or to hide the identity for an unsuspecting owner. If that's the reason it is there I hope I have not ruined the surprise.
