I don't think that was a wave, more likely 'saddle-slap'Richie wrote:

a wave from a guy on a Royal Enfield bike.

A 356 IS indeed a nice car - for the city and outside cruising. We got 10 cm of snow over night, so no cars with roof down on the streets right now ...Barrie wrote:Nope!Tim SP wrote:Did anyone catch the following last weekend:

GKN FFF and Boss Mustang!
Can you give us more info from the article?

A bit of a cheat as I haven't see this on the road - more on ebay...
but it could be on YOUR road for xxx£13,000 as it was unsold:
1936 Daimler Convertible Roadster Sports Special Item number: 330312968494
I think that there are several people on the Forum who would fancy this jaunty little number; a bit of a mongrel but ideal for ferrying around a few pretty ladies for "sunny afternoon jollies".
But I've left the best bit until last:
Daimler V8 engine!
Pip-pip! Vroom!

These are starting to become all too common
Whilst wandering the streets of London looking for any small change that has been dropped
( a surprisingly useful income in these recessionary times ) I came across this.
Sorry about the thumb and sadly not enough time to pop into the excellent Japanese restaurant
Lovely!

Fed up with Barrie swanking it around the West End, I took my camera to Tesco's this morning.
First snatched shot was this Rolls-Royce - didn't catch the lovely bride but, hey, who cares, you can see the bodywork ok:
And then trumped that with this Enzo:
Still waiting for the return of the white Veyron when I have my camera on me..
p.s. nothing else classic out today.

Welcome to the month of April!
I know you all prefer British cars, but perhaps you secretly hanker after something continental?
For all those who would like an old Alfa, but think they are a little too... well, Italian - and would fall for the Gallic charms of a Renault if it wasn't quite so... well, French...
I bring you:
Yes, your chance to hang your keys on an Alfa keyfob, but enjoy the economy of an underpowered '50s Renault.
Do keep an eye open today on the first day of April and let me know if you see any of these rare beasts on the road.
Stephen.
