They display correctly on my screen, in case you're wondering if it's just you.

Oddly, this picture appeared on a contentious planning application on the road where I live.
Was this just a lucky shot or a deliberate ploy by the architect putting forward the application to make his proposal stand out?
(I have a confession to make: in my previous life as an estate agent I sometimes photographed a good looking house with my CV8 or Bentley Continental S1 outside to add extra interest. Hammy I know  )
For the uninitiated it is a 1949 Jowett Javelin flat four 1500cc.

Went to the secret squirrel store today to pick stuff up for the London Classic Car Show and saw these three.

Thanks Zac, thought I was going mad.

The pictures are well worth viewing for a 541 enthusiast. How did you get a bike in the back?

I went to Sütirol for Mountainbiking. I absolutely wanted to take the 541, so I had to dismantle the bike.
Very easy, just had to put out the wheels and to rotate the handlebar.
In the height of 2500 m at the Timmelsjoch the car gasped for air, just like me during biking...
It was a great feeling to come out for the first time after lockdown.
I will start a bike-tour from Munich to Rovereto the 9th of July, anyone interested? :D

Brilliant Arne, why use a modern when you can shoehorn your kit into a proper car. I went camping in my Interceptor a couple of years ago, people thought I was mad, and I know a chap with a series1 E-type coupe that he uses for camping in too :D

This was on the road today... with yours truly at the wheel. Terrific fun. Properly good to drive.

That particular one isn't no, it's not for sale.
But the very generous owner, who I'd never met before today and only "spoke" with on Facebook at the beginning of the week, allowed me a proper drive to see if I liked it.
And I did. Very much.
What I particularly liked was that, unsurprisingly, it was totally different to the Interceptor which, perhaps more surprisingly, is very similar in many respects to the daily Tesla. That similarity is one of the reasons why, against all of my expectations, after nearly 20 years with me, "Busty" will indeed be looking for a new home.

I'll second that ! A proper drive.
Love my Cerbera V8......No gizzmo's ....nothing. You drive the car instead of the car being in control. Bliss !

But, that's why there are so few left ! :D
