The DS is very cool, but you made the right decision to go with the Interceptor :D

At Shelsey Walsh on Saturday, for the 60th anniversary of the E-Type, a couple of pics of some gems. Note the chap driving the ex Ecurie Ecosse D-type has one eye taped up, and the lad driving the C-Type looked about 14!

Hooray for that!

He's probably got the reaction times that the car deserves, too.

The Nash was built just down the road from me, the Austin works at Longbridge. basically an A40 with a plastic suit on. Also marketed as a Hudson metropolitan which had a small chrome grille ahead of a bonnet bulge. Princess Margaret and Steve Jobs had one. If I remember they had a crap turning circle for obvious reasons.

I bought my wife one of these in those colours but RHD, we still have it, they are so small they don't seem real and attract more attention than an Interceptor >>>Image

Not plastic but just a normal steel body. I was inspecting one a couple of years ago but it was too far gone. Rust just about everywhere.
The future ain’t what it used to be.

Dion, I sit corrected, don't see them too often and I've never seen a rusty one, so presumed they were fibreglass, especially with the door shape as it is, and the bumper strip all around the car. I was never comfortable with the shape, I understand what they were trying to do, but it is too small for the style, the Austin Atlantic doesn't sit right for me either, too short.
